Up for bid is this Rib and Bubble Stem Oil Lamp. You can find this piece listed in Thuro's Oil Lamps Updated Prices book page 288 plate "e". This takes a #1 burner and is about 8 1/4 inches tall. The hollow stems with this "bubble" is thought to have held dried flowers. Some with this bubble stem were clear but this one has the yellow or honey amber in color with the clear ribbed font and base. It is a pretty color and a rare lamp. Unknown maker and although it has a very wonderful look, on very close inspection of the clear, it can be seen some swirl in the font and some small bubbles in the glass. A very hard to spot flee bite was found when I checked this item before putting it on to sell. I had looked at it a number of times before I bought it and never seen anything. It could be a tiny bubble broken. Regardless, it is a very hard to find style. I do guarantee your saticfaction with this piece and have tried to make sure everything is covered. Buyer to pay $10.00 shipping IN THE 48 STATES. I only ship inside the 48 states. The Flee Bite Is in the 4th picture. You can not see it in the large pictures, you only see a few bubbles but not the bite.
