This nutcracker made by Richard Glasser, Germany, was produced for a very short time in the late 1990s. She is a side-saddle rider dressed in a lovely green habit, with her side-saddle over her left arm, and hunting whip in her right. A faithful hound sits at her feet. The arms move, and she is fully functional. Sadly, her right arm was savaged by my Jack Russell, and t is some damage, as shown in the photo.
