Hi all, This pickup was installed in a vintage '60s Rickenbacker bass when I got it. Thankfully the original was in the case pocket. I re-installed the original and will offer this one for sale. Here is how the seller described the pickup... " We installed one of Jason Lollar's famous Horseshoe pickups that he built from a lap steel pickup and spare parts." It sounds very close to an original '60s Ric horseshoe pickup. The bobbin is wound to correct 7.6K ohms & the horseshoes are vintage and magnetized. The magnets have a strong charge.
