Ridpath Library of Literature 13 vols 5th Ave De Luxe The Ridpath Library of Universal Literature Editor-in-Chief John Clark Ridpath Edition De Luxe Fifth Avenue Library Society, New York no publication date given. Included in this auction are the following volumes: 9-18 & 21-23 Thirteen volumes in total Bound in half leather with gilt lettering along spine and gold and green colored panels. Gilt topedges of textblocks, all other edges are deckled. Exteriors show moderate to heavy wear. Chipping present on all extremities. Spine is missing completely from 3 volumes and coming loose from volume 9, 11, 12, 15 & 21. Corners and edges bumped and or rubbed, some exposing panels. Front covers detached on volumes 9, 22 & 23. Back cover detached on volume 15. Interiors are in good condition with clean clear pages throughout. Volume 23 has ripped front loose endpages.
