For sale is a Rivarossi 4-8-8-4 "Big Boy" Union Pacific locomotive with tender, some papers included. I am selling this engine as used. .Look closely at the photos. Has a Horn Hook coupler on the back of the tender . Everything looks to be there but there may be detail parts that are broken or missing that I am not aware of. I have bench tested this engine and it runs both forward and reverse and the light worked when tested. It has not been run on track for testing and may need cleaned and lubed before use. Bench testing includes supporting the engine, applying power,and running the engine in both directions for about five minutes. and checking that motor does not over heat. I do not have a layout at this time and I can not test them on the track. I have given this engine a general cleaning with a stiff paint brush and a can of air. This engine is from an estate and was in storage for some time,it was and is dusty and needs cleaned to your standards. This engine does have a box but it is poor shape and the foam that the engine would fit in is not there. There is tears and the plastic is in bad shape. It will be packed well for shipping.
