River City Textiles NIB HO scale train background bldg. WALTHERS CORNERSTONE SERIES This is the River City Textiles Background Building by Walthers - #933-3178. It has never been opened and is still shrink wrapped. Nothing has been removed from the spurs (unless they fell off on their own). Contents are guaranteed to be mint, unused & complete. Box may have some light wear. I will combine shipping if you win more of my items. Why I'm selling this stuff: Over the past year or so, my 8 year old son and I have purchased a number of HO scale buildings with the full intention of doing our own train layout (this has been a long time dream of mine). As we got deeper into the hobby - we were soon overwhelmed and quickly came to the realization that: a) this is an expensive hobby. b) we don't have the ROOM to do the layout we wanted. c) we don't have the TIME to do the layout we wanted. d) this isn't exactly a hobby that an 8 year old can really help with as much as he'd like to. So instead of disappointing my son by not having a hobby we can do together, we decided to switch to a simpler (but not necessarily cheaper) hobby of Lego. Now we can build the town we wanted, complete with trains, cars, buildings, etc. and it's at a level that he can handle (yet still be able to improve and advance his skills and talents along the ways)! read more
