You are bidding on a new River Raisin Models S scale EMD E-8/9A locomotive without dynamic brake fan although there is a DB fan panel included in the detail bag that a modeler could add. New, except for minor display time in a glass case. I bought it as new and have never run it. This model was manufactured by Ajin in Korea for River Raisin Models by OMI after RRM took over the S scale brass business from OMI. It is a much improved locomotive compared to the earlier OMI import of the late 80's which had a single motor and tank driver system. This model was manufacturered with twin Buhler can motors and tower drives so it runs smooth and quiet like all new production models. All the detailing was improved with much crisper castings and it comes with just about every detail you could want for any railroad in the extra detail bags including additional nose door with headlight to back date it to an E-8A, air hoses, glad hands, buffers, different size fans, nose lift brackets, several styles of horns and much, much more. The box and foam are like new as well.Sales price includes free insured shipping by UPS ground to any street address in the continental USA. All others will pay actually shipping charges.
