THE RIVIERA, Painted and Described by William Scott, published by A. & C. Black, London, 1907, may be first edition as no other date given. A wonderful book about this interesting area. Some of the areas covered - The Sunny South, Some People One Meets, Culinary Chit-Chat, Savona to Spezia. Hardcover, 6.5"x9", 235 pages including Index, FOLD-OUT MAP in back, profusely illustrated with COLORED paintings, all illustrations seem to have the tissue-like paper covering the illustrations. Good/Very Good with a fair amount of wear to covers, an inch-long tear near top of spine, fraying at top and bottom of spine, start of hinge crack in front, slightly in back, first and last few pages are browned. Interior pages in good shape with some age spotting, illustration pages, however, are nice and white. Media mail in US $4.00, no reserve.
