Offered in this lot is an exhibitor book, produced by RKO, to promote the 1943-1944 slate of possible upcoming films such as Tall in the Saddle with John Wayne, Tarzan's Desert Mystery with Johnny Weissmuller, Walt Disney's Three Caballeros (tentative title: Let's Go Latin), Experiment Perilous with Cary Grant, and The Tender Comrade with Ginger Rogers. Interestingly enough, there were cast changes to some of these films such as Tall in the Saddle promotes Maureen O'Hara but she was replaced by Ella Raines, Cary Grant was replaced for Experiment Perilous with George Brent, and instead Grant made Mr. Lucky which is not listed in the book. There is a foldout page in the front with portraits of John Wayne, Gregory Peck, Ginger Rogers, Bing Crosby, Cary Grant, Frank Sinatra, Fred Astaire, Danny Kaye, Bob Hope, Rosalind Russell, to name a few. An unrestored exhibitor book with an overall presentable appearance. It may have edge and spine wear, spine separations, creases, tears, minor stains, surface scuffs, and missing pages.
