This is some OLD-TIME stuff - Malawi Agate from Malawi, Africa. I got a bunch of these in a collection I just bought, and they are AMAZING!! When was the last time you saw any of these classic agates available in the rough? Been a while I'll bet. These are nodule type agates with fortification banding and can have colors that rival the best of Mexican agates. Some are like Laguna, Coyamito, Moctezuma and others. Like Mexican agates, you can't tell a thing from the outside. I've seen the with vibrant reds, yellows, purple, white, shadow banding...the list goes on. These are FUN TO CUT as they will constantly surprise you. This HIGH GRADE lot weighs 2.25 pounds. See photos. Agate was photographed while wet to show colors. DON'T MISS THIS ONE!!!
