Photo measures 8" x 11" and is in Excellent condition. Photo has original typed snipe as well as an APPROVED ADVERTISING ADVISORY COUNCIL stamp dated JUN 25 1947. There are "retouch" marks on Dorothy's décolletage. You can clearly see the "Retouch as Indicated" stamp on the back of the photo. Please see super-sized image.The photo has four punch holes on top (common for keybook stills, see description below).ABOUT KEYBOOK STILLS: Keybook stills were taken during every aspect of a film's creative process. The movie studio's continuity department would always be on the movie set and take photographs of everyone and everything in the film-- actors, costumes, scenes, etc. When filming was completed, they would usually create four punch holes on top of each still and place all the stills in a binder. These were later used as reference material usually in the editing room.
