For auction are TWO cute robins-egg blue Roadside Craftsmen pottery items: the handled vase is 3 1/4 inches at the base, and 3 inches tall; the open mouth jar is 3 1/4 inches wide and 2 1/4 inches tall ( this vase has a kiln burn from the original firing ). Circular mark on the bottom of each reads " Roadside Craftsmen...Hand Made...E. Bloomfield, NY." This pottery existed approximately 1930--1950 on Route 5/20 between Syracuse and Buffalo which was the main tourist route to Buffalo and Niagara Falls. North Carolina potters turned at this location. Will wrap well and mail for a 1 pound 4 oz. package. .
