The pelham bit is used with two sets of reins. The top rein work onthe corners of the horse's mouth assisting in turning and guiding. Thebottom rein acts primarily on the bars, helping with control and collection. This bit is made by Robart and has a pinchless style snaffle mouthpiece. When a rein is pulled back on this Robart bit, the center rotates and does not pinch the tongue. This bit uses pressure without pain to teach a horse. This bit is new and in excellent condition. "Robart" is embossed on the mouthpiece. The hangtag is still attached. Includes curb chain & curb hooks. A very nice, show quality bit!! Originally sold for $50.00.
