Robert Henri (1865-1929) and His Circle , biography and survey, William Innes Homer, Cornell University Press, Ithaca, New York, 1969. Hardcover, 10 1/4 x 7 3/4 inches, 308 pp., 66 b/w illus., 4 color plates. Henri was the leader and primary force behind "The Eight" (or "Ashcan School") and the teacher of numerous artist including Stuart Davis and Edward Hopper. Condition inside excellent, light rubbing to cover, dust jacket has light shelf wear and one tiny tear.
