Item for auction is Robert Tonner's 'Tyler Wentworth' character Ready to Wear Sport doll, produced in 2003.Tyler doll is approximately 16 inches tall and is jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees. Tyler has wheat blonde hair that is mid-back length with no bangs. Doll has natural-toned lips and hand-painted blue eyes. Tyler is dressed in white tankini set with a single white ribbon bow on the top's front. Doll wears matching white pumps with a wide ribbon toe strap and elastic ankle strap. Tyler doll comes in tube-style packaging, with clear acrylic-based doll stand and wrist tag. White shipper box is not included.Tyler doll is in very good condition, as is her packaging. Doll would be factory mint, but for one exception: her hair. This doll was produced with the super-spiral curly hair that Tonner still uses occassionally. I've never been fond of that hair type because it's not brushable and tends to afro with handling. This was my first Tyler, so I was compelled to open and handle her in order to get a feel for the new product line. I applied warm water and brushed slowly through her hair in order to relax the curl, so that it was touchable and brushable. The result is the loose wave that you see in the pics.
