Robinson & Leadbeater Large Parian Bust of Queen Victoria Diamond Jubilee 1897 Move mouse over images to see enlarged version Description For auction is a fabulous parian bust produced by the Robinson and Leadbeater factory in Stoke on Trent, England. The factory produced wares of high quality around the late 19th/early 20th Century.The item listed here is a superbly detailed bust of Queen Victoria to celebrate the 60th year of her reign in 1897. The item is of superb quality and is a fantastically modelled piece.It is in very good display condition for it's vintage with no immediately obvious chips, cracks or restoration. However on close inspection there is a small chip to on of the points and also the top point on the Royal crown as shown ringed in the close up photo. There is also a suspicion that the top "bobble" on the crown has had some restoration and also the earrings as shown in close up but this is not conclusive. However this does not greatly detract from the overall appeal of this superb piece. It still shows very nicely or would be well worth restoring. Size and Weight Size - 24.7cm (9.75 inches) high . Weight Unboxed 700g Markings Impressed to the back with R & L markings and descriptions (as shown in the attached photograph for your reference).
