306 ROCK ISLAND Rail Road PAPER WIEGHT w/ SILVER w/ Bonus OLD WOODEN RULER ROCK ISLAND Rail Road PAPER WIEGHT w/ SILVER This ROCK ISLAND Rail Road paper weight has a silver badge or pin front encased in clear acrylic. I do not know the age, but the acrylic shows signs of being used and has scratches top and bottom. The image on the silver is very clear, crisp, and detailed compared to other like items I have seen. It has an image of a train from both eras, steam and diesel. MARKED: FRONT; "A Century of Service" 1852 * Rock Island Lines * 1952" It has an image of a train from both eras, steam and diesel. BACK; ROBBINS CO ATTLEBORO DIMENSIONS: The silver badge measures 1 - 3/8 wide by 7/8 of an inch tall.
