An excellent pair of vintage Rode NT2 mics. Withoriginal flight cases. Large-diaphragm FET condenser mics. Extremely low-noise transformerless design. Switchable omni and cardioid patterns. High pass filter switch and a switchable -10db pad. Body made of nickel plated brass. Comes from a clean, smoke-free studio. These legendary mics were designed by Jim Wilson of Audio Upgrades and use only high-quality components, including Hitachi transistors, a JFET from Siliconix, Röderstein metal-film resistors and Wima polypropylene film caps. They are cosmetically slightly different - as are the flight cases. I used the as a pair of overhead drum mics (as well as vocal mics) and they performed flawlessly. Really amazing bang-for-the-buck microphones and I believe these original version mics to be superior to the new ones. One of the nicest under $1,000 mics ever made. On one of the mics there is a small area where the grill is slightly detached from the body – refer to picture in read more
