This auction is for a Rode NT3 microphone. It is about 6 years old. It has been stored in an environmentally controlled recording studio and is in perfect working condition. The Rode NT3 is a small diaphragm, condenser microphone with a cardioid pattern and transformerless output. The NT3 can be powered via 48V phantom power or a single 9V alkaline battery if phantom power is not available.The NT3 was designed for studio application and location work. Stand and/or boom pole mounting will get great results on drums, percussion, acoustic guitar, guitar amps, piano and all acoustic instruments.In the studio we primarily used the microphone for acoustic guitar and got great results. It is a transparent mic but has just enough color to capture the sweet mid range of an acoustic guitar,
