This plane measures 14 1/2" long with a 2 1/8" wide cutter. Metal parts are in great shape with very little to no rust and I don't see any cracks or breaks. Just one very tine chip on back throat. It also seems to have most of its original black Japanning. Cutter is marked "Buck Bros" which I believe is the original cutter. Lever cap is marked with name and patent date. This plane is Patent #212,986 issues on March 4, 1879. Rear handle has crack w screw goes through but is solid. Front knob has a couple of chipped off sections - see pictures. Overall a nice example of a rare plane. Buyer agrees to pay actual shipping plus insurance. 6 day check clearance. NYS residents add 8.5% sales tax .
