Gorgeous Silverplate Serving Piece, made by 1881 Rogers/Oneida. Pattern is LaVigne, 1908. This is one very large, beautiful Serving Spoon, with a wonderful grape pattern in excellent condition. Called either a Berry Spoon, or a Casserole Spoon, it is big and heavy. Very elegant pattern, with beautiful bowl and handle etching, the bowl is also etched on the back. Perfect with most china patterns. Measures 8 3/4" long. The bowl is a large 2 1/2" wide, x about 3 1/2" deep. It is a huge sized spoon. The gold tones in the photos are from the camera - it is NOT tarnish, as t is none. It is polished and cleaned, and looks excellent. T is no heelwear, or plate loss on this antique silver. T appears to be a pin sized pit near the etching in the bowl, only discernable in daylight. I polish all my silver before listing so I know what I'm offering, and you get no unpleasant surprises. If this is your pattern, or you are a Collector, this would certainly be a great addition. This vintage, classic piece does have the tiny scratches of used silver that contribute to a gracious patina. Great piece. Beautiful! Happy bidding! Shipping includes Delivery Confirmation.
