WE GRADE CONSERVATIVELY. PLAY GRADED MEANS I HAVE LISTENED TO THE RECORD. IF IT IS DESCRIBED AS VISUAL I HAVE INSPECTED IT BY EYE AND HANDS. SURFACE MARKS AND SCUFFS ARE USUALLY CAUSED BY TAKING RECORD IN AND OUT OF COVER./ MINT (M): Even sealed could have slight imperfections in the vinyl. We are real, do not live in a fantasy world and grade realistically so sorry no such thing as mint here at AAA! NEAR MINT (NM): An almost flawless record with no visible scuffs or scratches.Nice shiny gloss May or may not have original sleeve. EXCELLENT (EXC): Excellent means just that still a very nice shiny lp virtually flawless may have a slight barely discernible mark or so many others on here would call this NM not us we are conservative our feedback speaks for itself! VERY GOOD PLUS(VG PLUS ): Will show some signs that it was played and handled. Record surface shows some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or light scratches that donÂ’t affect listening experience. Slightest warps but nothing that is horrible. Label may have some ring wear or discoloration. May or may not have original inner sleeve. VERY GOOD (VG): Many imperfections found in a VG PLUS record will be more pronounced in a VG lp. Will probably be more surface noise upon playing the lp, especially in soft passages and during songs intro and fade. May or may not have original inner sleeve. GOOD(G): Rarely sell good because good is just a filler lp until you score a better copy! A record in good condition will have visible deeper scratches and audible surface noise but still should not skip. JACKET GRADING GUIDE SS: STILL SEALED Or still factory sealed. SPS: STILL PARTIALLY SEALED. NEAR MINT (NM): Slightest ring wear, No splits or writing. Nice clean cover EXCELLENT(EXC): Ring wear more pronounced may be slight imperfections but strong binding ribs VERY GOOD PLUS(VG PLUS ): More actual ring wear, May have some slight split seams. May or may not have some writing or pen marks. Looks good overall. VERY GOOD (VG): Ring wear, May or may not have some more pronounced split seams, but still holds lp. May or may not have pen writing or markings May have scraped and damaged spine rib and covering may also have slight issues GOOD(G):Rarely sell good because good is just a filler lp until you score a better copy!
