A gorgeous set of Silverplate flatware, made by Wm. Rogers, Overlaid, International Silver. Pattern is the very elegant, and classic, TREASURE, 1940, a lovely and collectible pattern. Full, complete, less 1 Place Spoon service for 8, plus extras. Set includes 8 Hollow-handled Place Knives 8 Place Forks 7 Place Spoons 8 Salad/Dessert Forks 8 Teaspoons 8 Iced Teaspoons 4 Serving Pieces: 1 Master Butter Knife 1 Sugar Shell 2 Serving Spoons Total: 51 pieces This set is lovely! Gorgeous pattern. It is simply beautiful. It will set the statement for your table, and will go with most china patterns. The gold tone in the photos is from the camera - it is NOT tarnish, as t is none. It is polished and cleaned, and it looks, and feels, very heavy, like sterling. I polish all my silver before listing so I know what I'm offering, and you get no unpleasant surprises. It is table-ready. Some of the hollow-handled knife handles have small dents on the sides. Other than that, t is NO plate loss, pits, or heelwear. It is WONDERFUL! It does have the tiny scratches of used silver that contribute to a gracious patina. Great set. Beautiful! Happy bidding!
