One of the very best drum machines ever. It has excellent sounds whichcan be expanded by adding additional sound cards (808 and 909 cards).Great rock, electronic, ethnic and industrial style drumkits! Most of the sounds are editable - tune, decay, attack, nuance, output, etc...But its coolest tricks are the Feel Patches which give your program a human-like groove! The sounds are ROM based samples, the R8 has 32 note polyphony, 68 instruments, 100 patterns and 10 songs! This item has been in my smoke free studio for 12 years. It is in excellent cosmetic and functional condition. Included in this sale is the Roland SN-R8-04 sound card and a Voice Crystal X 256mb Memory card for saving additional sounds and sequences. The SN-R8-04 "Electronic" sound card contain sounds from the famous TR-808 drum machine. All the sounds are completely editable from pitch, attack, nuance, etc. Looking for that fat 808 kick sound?
