ROLAND TR-707 DRUM MACHINE Mid 80’s classic module, distinctive sounds and relatively easy to program If you’re looking at this listing then you probably know all about the TR-707 and also know that these are becoming quite rare and very collectable. This unit is in reasonable cosmetic condition, casing has some scratches and light discoloration to face plate. OK here’s the problem – the unit powers on and all the drum pad keys work when pressed. All the individual sliders work, the tempo knob works but there is some slight crackle from some of the sliders. The display has gone ‘Random’ as shown in pictures and does not display how it should when functioning correctly, i.e. dots everywhere and does not display the track number etc. Hence the programmability has been compromised - but you can still get sounds from the machine. In summary this unit is FAULTY but is most likely an easy fix for someone. No time or energy to investigate – supplied with compatible power supply but no manual (can be downloaded off web) Shipping cost is for UK only and includes my time and effort to pack safe and secure for transit.
