What you Get --- (start of product for sale description)--- One Roll of pre 1965 Washington quarters. $10 face value, 40 silver alloy quarters. The Quarters are from a random mix of dates 1930's thru 1964, with the rare possibility of some even older silver Quarters mixed into the roll. As random mix, no guarantee of including any or all dates, or available mint marks. Possible coins older than Washington quarters in roll. Contents is 90% silver bullion quality U.S. coins. All are ungraded Coins, most should be in grade range up to AU-55 condition. Damaged coins are rare but possible. The value is in the silver content. Circulated coins can have wear and scaring. I think the newest coins are nice, older coins may show wear. Please consider that the correct weight of silver is measured in troy ounces. Freshly minted quarters, by spec, is about 8 troy ounces, of silver alloy, for a $10 face roll. The newer coins have had little circulation to wear off the minted surface details. The older coins may show significant surface wear. The coins are processed alloy 90% silver bullion. These are coins of strong Historical significance, so asjunk, I think not. These are classified as fully circulated coins, retired from circulation in 1964-1965 and stored in bank bags. Some of the newest coins are almost in mint state, yet all are ungraded.Some of the oldest coins, in the bags, show significant wear. The grading scale you should use is the numerical, Sheldon Scale. The Sheldon Scale has the linear numbers that define a more precise grade of coin. The attached picture is an example, of the type of the contents of the rolls you will receive, not the exact roll contents. Before bidding on these coins you should research the grading of coins.
