This week I’ll be listing some of my Dad’s coins for my Mom. He got me started collecting coins in 1959 (I was 7) and we spent many years enjoying this hobby together. In 1980, when silver was hitting $40 oz., we dumped a lot of our coins (but not all of them) and just became “accumulators”. Most of these coins were collected prior to 1980 and have been in storage for over 30 years. .Thanks for looking, and good luck bidding. We just found these and I have no interest in going through them…(I spend enough time listing the PDS Quarter sets from my Dad’s complete sets, I sure don’t want to make more work for myself by going through these and listing them separately). A quick check shows t is a nice mix of dates/mints, 30’s, 40’s, 50s and a few 60’s…and LOTS of mint marks (We lived on the East Coast and D & S mints w scarce…so we tended to save mostly mint marked coins). $10.00 face of UNSEARCHED 90% silver Quarters.
