This is an ORIGINAL item, NEVER OPENED , still factory SEALED with the sticker intact on the front that it originally came with! This was a Limited Edition pressing. This has been out of print for a long time now! I listed some other of these digitally remastered albums, so go for it! These are NOT sold in stores anymore! Made in the EU, 2003. Vinyl fans can rejoice at ABKCO’s reissue of 15 Rolling Stones albums on 180 gram virgin vinyl. F ortunately due to the re-emergence of vinyl as a serious medium in which to play music back, most of the vinyl that is released today is pressed on heavier records made of “virgin” vinyl. Virgin vinyl simply means that the vinyl used to make the record is pure vinyl, and virtually free of impurities. Well, the artwork is impressive, faithfully recreating the look of the original sleeves. The pressings are on nice, thick slabs of vinyl that is quite quiet, and the cutters took obvious, even loving, care with the direct metal mastering that created the platters. Have you heard the SACD’s ? If so, then you have largely heard the mastering , and you know what a great job Ludwig has done transferring the master tapes to his DSD masters. The DSD masters are rather great in their own right, and I am sure I am not alone in being thrilled to hear these albums on vinyl again. To be bluntly honest, they sound better than the US London pressings, heck any US pressings, ever did, and, to my knowledge, only the original UK Decca releases top these. After years of substandard CD’s and some pretty crappy vinyl reissues, these albums once again sound fresh and vital, and right now, that makes me very happy. Throw away all your Rolling Stones albums! Now... For the first time ever, the Rolling Stones, the London years, all 15 albums have been digitally remastered by Andrew Loog Oldham from the original master recordings featuring the original art. It’s just what you always wanted… satisfaction. The way they were always meant to be heard! ABKCO Records has released Limited Edition remastered Rolling Stones releases. The original analog tape sources were used and then transferred using DSD-equipment to these new masters resulting in the best sound these LP’s have had in years. T have been so few vinyl LP’s produced over the last 5 years that you should never pass up the opportunity to upgrade your collection. They’re each very limited in their pressings and disappear with extraordinary quickness from the vinyl market. This causes prices to skyrocket because once they are gone, they are gone forever!
