AE 9.8 gm follis of Maximianus (286-310 AD). 26 mm. Nice detail and nice strike but with heavy red patina and moderate wear. Sear 3633. Obverse is Maximianus head right laur. Reverse shows genius standing left. Reverse legend is GENIO POPVLI ROMANI. Antioch mint. Maximianus had 3 reigns: 286-305; 306-308; 310. He abdicated after each period and then was called back.
