Standard Deepeeka Mainz Gladius slightly reworked. Brass scabbard plates have been tinned, hand grip shortened and pommel replaced. Tang is peened over brass disk on pommel.Blade only has slight wear but no damage and is not meant to be used in simulated combat.This sword started from one of the more accurate Roman swords out t and the tinning and peened over pommel add an even more accurate touch. Hand grip is shortened, but still fits a large hand grip---the original was just too long.
