This is a VINTAGE HAND-CARVED WOODEN ITALIAN ROMER FIGURE of a VOLLEYBALL PLAYER . I got him at an antique/collectables store a few years ago. I don't what year he's from, I just know he's BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! T isn't a sticker or any residue on the bottom of the base, however, "HANDMADE IN ITALY" is carved into the bottom of the base. He is approx 12" tall by 10"deep (from the hand extended forward to the one holding the volleyball) by 4 3/4" wide. Base is approx. 4" x 3 1/4". No nicks, chips or cracks. The ball feels a little rougher than the totally smooth body, I'm not sure why. All and all, it is in VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT CONDITION . If you like Italian art, wood carvings, statues, Romer, Volleyball or know somebody who does, either way, it'll make a wonderful and beautiful addition to any collection or household.
