NEW SPECIAL PRICE LOW PRICE Vintage Chinese Roof Tile Roof Tile Figures were placed along ridges and roof edges as Guardians and Protectors of public buildings and private homes. The number of Ceramic Figures on a rooftop would indicate the importance of the building, with 9 figures denoting the housing for the Emperor or for the place of meetings with the hierarchy. The main purpose for the ornamental tiles was to produce an Auspicious Aura which creates a Positive Cosmic current that would generate favorable Feng Shui. Our Roof Tiles are in great condition and have a Wonderful Green Glazed Crackle Finish (see close-up). We were able to acquire a few of this style of Roof Tile and since they are so close in appearance we are using the same image for all of them.
