You are bidding on a Rookwood Brown Standard Glaze Ear of Corn Handpainted Mug - Dates to 1895 with the bottom flame marking, as noted in the Rookwood Pottery Book by Ellis. This piece measures 4 3/4 inches tall and 5 inches across the widest point. Artist signed Mary Nourse with the hand signature of M.N. Stein mug is super clean, and has no chips. However t is a spider hairline on the bottom as shown in the photo, and t is also restoration to a side crack - you can just faintly see the line under the restoration. I tried to photo below, this is as we originally purchased and the artwork, age and rarity of this mug was too hard to not gather up in the estate as well!
