This 1944 Rookwood vase is 4-1/4 inches high with a diameter of approximatley 4 inches wide. A bird and flowers surround the vase completely. It is in wonderful condition with the exception of a small half inch hairline crack which is underneath the glaze finish by the rim and cannot be felt. It does not go thru to the inside and seems to have happened before the glaze was applied. It has the reversed RP on the bottom with the year XLIV and a number hand inked or signed 467 or could be 967. The ecru color gives it the richness and beauty befitting a Rookwood piece.
