Roscommon, Mich., real photo postcard by unidentified photographer, ca. 1940s This very sharp, detailed real photo postcard shows a block-long business district in downtown Roscommon, Michigan MI during the 1940s. The necessities are all here - McCREDIE'S MEATS & GROCERIES, DeWAELE's DRUGS & SODAS , and JOHN'S BAR B. Q. A rooftop sign over the grocery store advertises Coca-Cola and a sign on the front of the drug store advertises Arctic ICE CREAM . A classic 1940s view from this northern Michigan town. Postally unused, divided back, 3 3/8" x 5 3/8". EKC stamp box dates postcard to 1939-1950. Condition Excellent condition with very light corner wear. Upper left corner with white corner is not damage - just the way this photographer printed his postcards.Please contact me with any questions before placing bid.
