It has round shape. It is of famous now German Op-Art line. It is decorated with ' Blue Aqua ' pattern with bright purple and orange water flowers, green and torques leaves, gilded cattails with blue leaves and very expressive and huge gold filigree representing large flower head. German artist Wolf Bauer (b. 1938) created this colorful pattern. He is one of the leading artists in decorative materials and furniture design. His signature in gold is embedded in décor. Bauer has been working for Rosenthal since 1972. He created colorful decors on the forms "Duo" and "Plus". His decoration "Duo Bouquet" was honored by Design Selection in 1979. This vase has very stylish torch form. It is of oval profile. This is Rosenthal form number is 2931. Famous Finish sculptor Tapio Wirkkala (1915-1985) designed this form. This is one of the most successful Rosenthal forms. Many artists decorated on it. Vase is marked on the backside with standard Rosenthal Studio-Linie, Germany mark in green.
