The glaze is a matte finish which is typical of these Roseville designed handled vase made in Zanesville, Ohio back in the 1930's. The base is marked with "Roseville 709-10”. The vase stands 10 1/2" tall and 8 1/4" wide from twig handle edge to twig handle edge. The #709-10 mold for this shape is shown in Bomm's book in "Roseville in all its Splendor" on page 256, bottom picture, 2nd row and on the far right-hand side. The handled vase has NO hairlines, NO cracks, and in wonderful condition. Please see the above PICs to view this vase and the wonderful colours.
