Moss is a middle period line introduced by Roseville Pottery in 1936. Standard colors include pink, blue, and tan/peach. This vase is "pink", and has a beautiful pink interior glaze. Outside glazes gradate from pink to aqua green. The shapes are mid-century modern art deco style.Moss is marked with the die-impressed Roseville script mark, shape number, and size, in this case, 783-9.Height is 9 1/2 in., width at handles is 7 1/2 in.2 in. hairline crack on top, small chips on 1 handle and bottom edge - see photos. When displayed, these small defects are barely noticeable.Valued at $375-$400 in perfect condition. Here is your chance to own a GORGEOUS piece of Roseville at a reasonable price!
