Roslyn English Vintage China "Lily" C.1930's Tea Set Trio Description The Vintage China Gift Company W e hope you will discover a range of highly original English Vintage & Antique Tea Ware Gifts that will delight you and those you purchase them for… Roslyn English Vintage China “Lily” 1930’s Tea Set Trio The Set comprises of:- 1 x Tea Cup & Saucer & Tea Plate Approx. Dimensions: Tea Cup – 8cms diameter & 7cms in height; Saucer – 14cms diameter; tea Plate 15½ x 15½cms This lovely 1930’s vintage china set was manufactured by Reid & Co. Longton, Stoke-on-Trent and is very evocative of the era. It features a lovely hand painted water lily design with green and grey pattern contrasting with the white ground and trimmed with green rims. The trios are in good overall vintage condition, as is shown in our photographs, however we have reduced the price of the two trios by £2.00 each as we don’t feel the condition is quite as good as the two other trios we currently have for sale. The tea plate of trio “A” has a tiny area on the rear of the plate where there seems to be loss of glaze. It is not chipped as the green trim is still intact – as shown in the photograph – but seems to be a result of the manufacturing process at the time of production. The underside of the cup base of trio “C” has some tiny nicks around the edge of the foot which are so small they don’t show up on the photograph. Again, they do not appear to be damage but as we noticed them when packing the trio we felt they should be mentioned for the sake of completeness. Please have a quick look at our terms of sale if you’d like to know a little more about the general condition of our vintage china – but in line with manufacturing processes at the time of production of this china there may be occasional grit spots or firing blemishes which are not regarded as flaws but are a result of manufacturing processes at the time of production – we mention this only for the sake of completeness.
