It has brass pins and liners, nickel-silver bolsters and shield, highly polished blade. Blade stamped " Rough Rider " and is etched with an anvil and the words "Tested RR Sharp". These knives are very, very sharp and very good quality knife. They are great for collecting. You are paying for a good quality knife not paying a big price for a over priced namebrand. The best quality knife you'll every buy under $20.00. In 1898, 23,000 men volunteered to ride with Teddy Roosevelt, but he only hand-picked 2,000. The men hailed from every corner of the country.
