ROUGH RIDERS, THE (1927) Vintage original 14 x 22" (35 x 56 cm.) window card poster, U. S. Mary Astor, Charles Farrell, Noah Beery, George Bancroft, dir: Victor Fleming; Paramount. This was the story of a military unit which was organized by President Teddy Roosevelt and their adventures during the Spanish-American War during 1898. Frank Hopper, a book agent, was cast as Roosevelt because of his similar appearance. The colors are stunning and rich. Art features Astor and Farrell in a romantic pose, art of the riders at bottom. This card is in original condition, with one small chip at the very top edge center, minor corner bend and rounding to the bottom left corner, one pin hole at the middle bottom edge. NEAR MINT-.
