WELCOME! *Note-not too many of these left! This Turquoise collection has it all! It has samples of: Sleeping Beauty Turquoise, Lander's Blue Turquoise, Kingman Turquoise, Number 8 Nevada Turquoise, Royston Turquoise, and Fox Turquoise. You may or may not receive all varieties. This Turquoise collection is over twenty years old featuring a lot of Turquoise that can't be found anyw else! This Turquoise once belonged to an old miner and my supplier received this 5,000 pound Turquoise collection by way of his widow. It seems this turquoise has been stabilized, though I am being told that is seems to be a poor attempt at doing so. Someone told me it was recon?. This collection has some rare and valuable stuff. The Number 8 mine in Nevada closed down years ago making the Number 8 Nevada Turquoise highly collectible. The owner of the Lander's Blue Turquoise Mine extracted every last scrap of that Turquoise (which was a relatively small quantity) making Lander's Blue a rare and one of the most sought after varieties of Turquoise in the world. This Turquoise is perfect for making cabochons. Check out the fourth photo below to see some of the cabochons that we were able to make. A silver dollar has been included in the photos to give a sense of scale. You will be getting a full 1 pound worth of this rough Turquoise (see the first three pictures)
