This is a neat old parlor Stove. It is in need of a good cleaning !. This was being used to heat an old house my husband and I recently purchased. Relatives said it kept the home toasty warm and actually made the small room it was in TOO warm. This is a Round Oak Stove made by the estate of PD Beckwith in Dogawiac, Michigan. It is the number E-18. This has all of it's nickle plated fancy accesories with it although they need cleaned and possibly re-nickled depending on if you like your antiques to look new or rustic. T is a foot warmer w you could rest your feet to warm them up attached. I have 3 other fancy pieces of this that I need to take pictures of. T are two small accesorie piecs and a larger one. I am not sure w they hook on but they were found in the attic of the old house and they match the work on the stove .. so they must go with it somew! LOL> The finial on the top is the standing Indian. The indian's foot area is missing . They were not actually feet but a ring of metal that made the bottom come down over the base. The piece was with the stove but somehow were missplaced in the move so I do know what it looked like. They would have had to be to be reattached but I am sure this can be repaired. Really.. it is not something that is a big deal. The finial needs tightened (with screws) so it stands on it's own. The screws are t With a little elbow grease this will make you a nice show piece! It has 4 stove mover wheels on it presently but as you can see the feet are great designs and are also adorned with fancy filligree in nickle. This , for obvious reasons, is a pick up only. It is cast iron and very heavy. It will take several people to lift. I think 3 men brought it It is 62 inches high with Finial(A little over 5 feet) and about 60 inches around. I am 20 miles from I 75 which runs North/South and 3 miles from the Ohio Turnpike which runs East/West. We are located 30 minutes from Lake Erie and the Islands and 45 minutes from Cedar Point Amusement Park. Perhaps you could plan a short vacation trip and pick this up before you leave? Payment should be made within 3 days of auction ending but I will hold the item until you can pick it up. We can work out these details after the auction closes. I just brought the other parts that were found with this stove in. I am not sure they go with this stove. I thought they matched the pattern but looking closer I do not believe they do. They are marked AC 40 H LT 189 J (2 matching pieces with holes w they attach) and AC 30 H LT 176 J (2 matching pieces-smaller_) If you know anything about these parts please let me know as I don't want to send them with something they don't fit. Thanks! I have located the other foot warmer that belongs with this stove!! Just needs a screw and a nut. This makes the stove pieces all complete. It has the 4 nickle legs which say Round Oak. The decorative skirting on the bottom, The two nickeled foot warmers. The nickle is in decent shape and a good shining should make it spectacular. All of the doors are present and all the latches. The top decorative skirting and it's original finial. The Finial is an Indian and says "Round Oak". The indian does have break at the feet as mentioned above. I think this is pot metal on the bottom and could have a piece added to complete it.. or leave it as is.. OR.. possible replace it with a replica. The pot is not cracked.
