This is a neat old parlor Stove. It is in need of a good cleaning !. This was being used to heat an old house my husband and I recently purchased. Relatives said it kept the home toasty warm and actually made the small room it was in TOO warm. This is a Round Oak Stove made by the estate of PD Beckwith in Dogawiac, Michigan. It is the number E-18. This has all of it's nickle plated fancy accesories with it although they need cleaned and possibly re-nickled depending on if you like your antiques to look new or rustic. T is a foot warmer w you could rest your feet to warm them up attached. I have 3 other fancy pieces of this that I need to take pictures of. T are two small accesorie piecs and a larger one. I am not sure w they hook on but they were found in the attic of the old house and they match the work on the stove .. so they must go with it somew! LOL> The finial on the top is the standing Indian. The indian's foot area is missing . They were not actually feet but a ring of metal that made the bottom come down over the base. The piece was with the stove but somehow were missplaced in the move so I do know what it looked like. They would have had to be to be reattached but I am sure this can be repaired. Really.. it is not something that is a big deal. The finial needs tightened (with screws) so it stands on it's own. The screws read more
