In the mid 1990's Royal Doulton, the parent company at the time, started moving its manufacturing facilities from England to Indonesia and China and removed the word "England" from the back stamp. Today, very few dinnerware pieces are actually produced in England. Most of the dinnerware items are being produced in Indonesia with a few pieces being produced in China. The Royal Albert giftware items on the other hand are predominantly being produced in China with a few pieces being produced in Indonesia. The current back stamp does not indicate the country where the piece was manufactured.Please note that all items sold by The Fine China Store are and first quality and were purchased directly from Waterford Wedgwood Royal Doulton through a wholesale account.**Please note that Free Shipping only applies to the continental United States.
