This week I have been particularly fortunate to purchase a beautiful grouping of vintage English tea cups and saucers, each listed with no reserve and a LOW opening bid! Teacups are my specialty so keep an eye on define26 as I add new listings weekly! To see all of my items please . This auction is for a c. 1930-50s Royal Albert, hand painted pink rose with gold on black, English bone china cup and saucer which are: in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs each piece rings clearly when pinged the gilding is in excellent condition throughout. The cup measures 4 in. wide including the handle and is 2 ¾ in. tall; the saucer is 5 ½ in. in diameter. This set features delicately hand-coloured floral decoration including some raised enamel painting, all surrounded by rich, matte black outlined with fancy baroque-inspired gold designs.
