ROYAL ALBERT OLD COUNTRY ROSES RIBBONS CUP AND SAUCER Up for sale is a STUNNING Bone China cup and saucer that is just EXQUISITE! The Royal Albert Company produced this variation of their beloved "Old Country Roses" pattern to commemorate their Ruby Celebration in 2002. It features the traditional red, gold and pink roses trailing around the rim of both the cup and saucer. It is further accented with a winding red ribbon and bows intertwined with the beautiful roses. Both pieces are lavishly trimmed in gold. The footed cup stands 2 3/4 inches tall with a 3 1/2 inch diameter. The saucer measures a generous 5 1/2 inches across. I believe that this cup and saucer set will go up in value because it was made for a special occasion in 2002 and will never be made again. Also, Royal Albert no longer produces their fine china in England so the fact that the backstamp on these pieces say "Made in England" and "Ruby Celebration" will increase their value over the coming years. This gorgeous cup and saucer are NEW, in MINT condition, never used. Own a piece of Royal Albert history, never to be made again. It really is a beautiful set! |
