This evening I'll be listing three exceptional ROYAL BAYREUTH selections from an exceptional estate collection. This auction offers the extraordinary 8 1/4" WATER PITCHER in the very desirable SCENIC Line. It measures 4 3/4" at the top, 6" across at the widest point and 3 3/4" at the base. The scene shows an old Fisherman in his Row Boat on the water with beautiful River Birch Trees in the background. The back side shows a very cool Bird that I don't recognize flying in the sky (see photo).The applied handle has a rope edge. The bottom of the vase has the famous Royal Bayreuth blue "Lions" mark. This piece is in excellent estate condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or damage of any kind--only a bit of rubbing on the gold edge detail (see photo).
