This is a commemorative collector's plate by Royal Copenhagen. It depicts a bull in a field with a shamrock over it and two dates, '72, and '97. I believe these are 1872 and 1897. It has the words "Vnitis Viribvs" which means "By united efforts". I understand these were commissioned by the "Jutland Farmer's Association" for an exhibition , and were designed by Arnold Krog. It has the Royal Copenhagen wave mark with a crown and the word "Danmark". It is in excellent condition, and measures 7 1/4" across.
