It looks virtually mint to me but has the spot shown on the side as the reason for 2nd status. Copenhagen's 2nd quality mark is a small scatch through the three wavy lines of the logo. I've tried to show this in the photos. Interestingly, The saucer has a first quality mark, no scatch, but has a definite brownish mark under the glaze as shown. There are only the slightest signs of use on the saucer with some light surface marks but no cracks, deep scratches, or chips. All excellent quality for your dinning pleasure!
