A reputable local antiques shopkeeper has asked me to list and sell: Royal Cornwall Classic Christmas Plate I "Child Of Peace" by Joseph Christian Leyendecker. Plate l "depicts perfectly mankind's greatest event" in a clear, delicate, Renaissance styled art and is part of the limited edition 4-plate series. It is made of porcelain and the rim is decorated and hand gilded with 24 karat pure gold. For decorative display. Please see all photos for your inspection. This piece was never used and in excellent condition. Each plate sold for $49.86 in the late 1970s. With all the gold, today it is not only a work of art but also a great buy! Comes with all papers and original box.
